The cardiac function and interventional technology program seeks to instill essential knowledge, skills and servant leadership in cardiac device interventional technologies with an emphasis in cardiac rhythm management and electrophysiology.

A day on campus. A day full of learning.
CFIT-Pro students come to campus 3 times over the multi-year program for a full day of hands-on learning, connection, and collaboration with the CFIT community.
Their day included a porcine heart dissection, classroom learning, lunch together, cadaver lab, and a quiz to put their knowledge to the test.
One of the highlights? Time with the current CFIT cohort. Our students had the opportunity to share what they’ve been learning, teach new skills, and learn from CFIT-Pro students along the way.

There’s nothing better than when CFIT alumni stop by!
We enjoyed an informal visit from several CFIT alumni who now work with Medtronic EP. While they were in town, they took time to reconnect with faculty and current students, share their experiences, and catch up with the CFIT community.
We’re always grateful for alumni who stay connected and continue to invest in the next generation of cardiac device professionals.

One of the best parts of the CFIT community is seeing our graduates come back and pour into the next generation of cardiac device specialists.
We loved having a CFIT graduate back in the lab, sharing knowledge, offering guidance, and helping current students grow in their skills. The CFIT experience extends far beyond graduation, and we’re grateful for the connections that continue to make our program special!
