This has always been my life’s motto - stay curious and just try sh*t

Along the way I’ve lost myself a few times in the things I’ve tried, thinking this is it, this is the thing I was looking for.

But if I’m honest, I’m not really looking for the one thing that’s mine, that’s my thing, that people see me as. I think for a while I thought that’s what you’re supposed to do, find your thing and do it.

I’m creative and I like to try things, that’s where my happy place is, that’s where I feel like ME.

Sometimes I try sometimes for a few hours, someone’s for a few years. Sometimes I try multiple things at the same time.

I don’t see any of the things I tried as a wasted time, cause I learned - skills and about myself and others. And most importantly I learned that I don’t care if I change my direction again, cause I rather live with peoples judgment now than with regret when I’m 80.

So I encourage you to stay curious and just try sh*t - you never know what you might learn, who you might meet, or if you find something that makes you happy.

Biggest take aways:

- expose yourself to new things and people

- the more you speak about personal experiences and get specific about it, the more someone will see themselves in it

- it’s not about remembering the details of the comic, but how it made you feel when you read it

- collaboration matters, be a “yes, and” person instead of saying no, see other peoples experiences as a way to expand your horizon
