It’s Diaper Need Awareness Week, and the need is huge.
Roughly 1 in 2 U.S. families struggle to afford enough clean diapers to keep a child dry and healthy.
Government safety-net programs like SNAP and WIC do NOT cover diaper purchases, making community diaper banks like WestSide Baby essential.

We happily received our final shipment of 318,000 diapers from National Diaper Bank Network (NDBN) for the year!
With this awesome partnership, in addition to receiving multiple shipments of diapers each year, we also have the benefit of bulk buying power which means that YOUR DONATION ALLOWS US TO PURCHASE MORE DIAPERS PER DOLLAR! More babies kept safe, warm and dry.
Of course, we had to fuel up to get these diapers unloaded and want to shout out our great friends and White Center neighbors, Taco Time Northwest! An extra huge shout out to Taco Time employee, Maria, who also goes above and beyond for us every time we see her at the drive thru!
Last week, we celebrated the long-tenure WestSide Baby career of our Program Director, Will Owen, who is headed back to school this fall. To know Will is to love him, and he gave so much to our team, community, partners, and families for nearly 8 years! We will miss you, Will, and are grateful for your years of work in service of our mission! 💚

The WestSide Baby team is celebrating the extraordinary life of one of our time’s most generous and beloved stars. Dolly Parton believed that everyone deserved a chance to dream, to learn, and to thrive, and she put that belief into action by giving of herself so generously. Through her music, her philanthropy, and her unwavering kindness, she made the world so much brighter.
How lucky we were to have her - and how grateful we are for the beautiful legacy of love and hope she leaves behind.

This full-time role leads warehouse operations, program logistics, process improvement, inventory, budgets, and a team of Program Managers - all in service of getting essential items like diapers and formula out to families in our region efficiently, effectively, and equitably.
Primarily on-site in White Center. $82,000 - $85,000 + benefits, including generous PTO and holidays. Applications received by August 20 will be prioritized.
