A $4B company just decided one marketer + 3,000 AI agents beats a department of 50.

ClickUp is hiring for it right now: Chief Marketing Officer, reporting straight to the CEO, no direct reports at all. No resume. No cover letter.

The timing isn't random. It landed three days after reports that only 36% of the Fortune 500 still even use the CMO title, and two months after ClickUp cut 22% of its own workforce, with the savings going straight back into pay for the people who stayed.

Is this where marketing orgs are headed, or is this specific to a company that already cut a fifth of its staff and needed a headline?

Most ICP documents fail one test, and it's not subtle.
Take your ICP definition and hand it to two different account executives. Give them a day, Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, whatever list-building tool they like. Ask each of them to build a target list independently.
If your ICP is real, those two lists should look similar. 50% or so overlap.
Most companies never clear that bar.
In this session, we walk through why the reproducibility test is the fastest way to tell if an ICP is infrastructure or decoration, and the three specific gaps that usually cause it to fail.

Every piece of content you've published this year was written with the same LLM your three biggest competitors are using. That's not a knock on you. It's just where we are now.

AI can write competent, on-brand-sounding copy in about four seconds. Landing pages, blog posts, email sequences, LinkedIn posts like this one. Which means "competent" stopped being something you could sell. It's the floor now, and everyone's already standing on it, sounding the same.

On August 6th at 8am PT, Stijn Hendrikse is going live with How to Build a Brand Voice That AI Can't Replicate. We'll get into why "on-brand" and "your voice" aren't the same thing, the one input AI can never generate on its own, and a quick gut-check to see if your own content has quietly started sounding like everyone else's.

If you've ever pasted your own website into ChatGPT and thought "honestly, this could be any SaaS company," this one's for you.

We're live in an hour.

Most persona docs get written once and never opened again. Sales improvises. The person who said yes walks into internal meetings empty-handed. Deals die in rooms nobody saw coming.

If your personas haven't changed what your team says or builds this quarter, they're not personas. They're decoration.

Today at 8am PT, Stijn Hendrikse is going live with The Buying Committee: Why Most B2B SaaS Deals Die Before a Vendor Is Ever Chosen, the P1–P2–P3 framework and Five Tests for building personas your field will actually use.

Starting in one hour:

If your deals have been dying after a great demo, this is probably why.

Most B2B teams focus almost entirely on the budget-holder. That makes sense; they're the one who signs. But the budget-holder alone isn't enough. Forrester puts the average B2B buying group at 13 stakeholders. And 86% of purchases stall before a vendor is even chosen.

Usually not because the product fell short. Because the room was bigger than the inbox suggested.

The end users were never sold on the change. The champion had nothing to defend the decision internally. Procurement raised an objection in a meeting your sales team wasn't in.

This Thursday at 8am PT, Stijn Hendrikse is going live to walk through the P1–P2–P3 framework, three personas, three jobs to be done, and three ways a deal quietly dies when one of them gets missed.

See if your persona strategy actually covers the full room.

Your ICP needs more than a firmographic profile.
Vertical, headcount, revenue range, those tell you who to look at. They don't tell you who will actually buy.
The test that matters is pain. Is it acute? Is it expensive? Can you put a dollar number on what it costs them to leave it unsolved?

Most sales teams know who they want to close. Almost none have written down who they should walk away from.
That gap shows up late in the funnel, at proposal, at quoting, when you find out the deal was never a good fit, and you've already spent weeks on it.
That's what an anti-ICP is for.

Most ICPs don't actually disqualify anyone. They describe a market. They don't define a target.

And six months in, your team is chasing every lead that looks close enough because the profile never told them what close enough means.

Everyone's using AI to write copy. So what actually sets you apart?

Stijn breaks it down simply: T2D3 tells you what to do. Syntropy reminds you that the human work still matters. And Antoine's upcoming new book, Level Up, is about how you get better at all of it, every day, with your team.
