Overthinking isn’t getting you anywhere, babe. Don’t sit in the “analysis paralysis” and start taking action!!

Whatever it is on your heart - your health, your relationship, your career, that side hustle, that podcast - just start doing something about it.

You don’t learn by sitting and thinking about it, you learn by DOING.

So get out of your own way, and start take advantage of this ONE life you’ve got!!

It doesn’t have to drain you.
It doesn’t have to be boring.
It doesn’t have to be restrictive.
And it definitely doesn’t have to be complicated.

Trust me. I’ve been there. But I found my way out of it and I’m SO passionate about helping you do the same, girl!!

I’m not saying it’s going to be easy. But it can be SIMPLE and you can find the JOY in it.

Having proper nutrition knowledge for your body & your goals, a fitness calendar that tells you exactly what to do and a community of support is the solution that changed my life.

I know it’s hard to start. I know. But you know what’s even harder? Staying stuck, stopping & starting again or giving up on yourself all together. THAT is hard.

You CAN do this. I promise you can. And I’m right here to show you the way, hype you up and give you all the tools to be successful!!

You just gotta say YES to changing your life. You deserve it, too.

Reminder to do something for YOU today!!

For me, it was a slow morning, a long hot shower, blasting some music, an oat milk latte and doing my hair & makeup! And it brought me back to LIFE!

What’s your favorite form of self-care!? Would love to hear! ⬇️⬇️⬇️

My favorite quote of all time. Your job is to make YOU happy. And no one else ❤️

It’s the smile for me!!!!

Photo on the left was taken in 2012- I was a sophomore in college, insecure, depressed, anxious, lost and SO uncomfortable in my skin.

I had actually lost some weight this year but I did it by counting calories and spending HOURS punishing myself in the gym.

And as you can see on my face, I was feeling anything but empowered.

Photo on the right was taken at the end of 2020- finally feeling like myself, stepping into my power, taking control of my health & happiness, learning, growing and despite how uncomfortable of a year it was- feeling more alive than ever.

It was never the number on the scale that needed to change. It was my outlook on life and myself, the thoughts in my head and the REASONS I show up for myself.

It’s been a long road but I’m so proud to have made it to where I am: feeling confident in the way I show up for myself, confident in my truth and confident in my abilities to create the life I’ve always dreamed of.

And the fact that this long, winding road lead me to a community of empowered women that stand true to who they are and support one another through it all... is just more than I ever thought possible for my life.

If you’re feeling like the girl on the left, please reach out to me!! I’ve learned a thing or two that I would love to share with you. 🦋

Shared this on my story the other day but I needed it on my page!!

It sucks that society has taught women that “skinny” is superior and that we are taught we are not worthy if we don’t fit this ideal.

It contributes to eating disorders OR people giving up on trying to be HEALTHY altogether.

Having physical goals is completely fine & amazing! It’s good to have goals! As long as they are out of LOVE & RESPECT for yourself.

But our purpose on this planet isn’t to be as small as we possibly can. What a sh*tty existence that would be!!

So eat your veggies, drink your water & move your body regularly but take away the STRESS around it!!

Find the JOY in taking care of yourself. Stop putting so much pressure on yourself to be smaller because the world told you you need to be.

Let’s create a new world where health & fitness is about FEELING your absolute best, getting better sleep, gaining confidence from challenging yourself and having a clearer mind.

Cuz once you take care of your MIND- your body will follow!!

Let’s shift our focus ladies!!You with me?

Two days ago I was really feelin’ myself... I’ve been eating so much healthier and following my fitness calendar and was starting to notice my muscles showing more.

I haven’t weighed myself in MONTHS.... so I was curious. I stepped on the scale, and to my surprise I had GAINED weight.

I felt really down about it for a minute and felt myself being sucked back into “the spiral” (you know the one), but then I realized.... this is exactly WHY I don’t weigh myself.

You see, a year ago, I was 11 pounds lighter- according to the scale. And for some reason that number meant success to me.

But when I look back at where I was at a year ago: I was working 40 hours a week on my feet, going to a show/festival/out dancing at least once a week, was doing my at home workouts.... but I had surrounded myself with some really toxic people that were causing me a lot of anxiety and when I get extremely anxious, I lose my appetite. So I wasn’t eating right or enough.

Fast forward to now: I haven’t worked a full time job since March & haven’t gone to any festivals or shows- so I haven’t been on my feet as much as I was last year. I’m also eating a lot more because I’m HAPPY and surrounded by good energy. Quarantine boredom lead to a lot more snacking too but hey- if that’s the worst thing happening to me during a global pandemic, I think I’m gonna be okay. I’ve also been CONSISTENT with my workouts and I know I’ve put on a good amount of muscle!

So yeah, the number on the scale is higher but I feel lighter... emotionally so much lighter and mentally so much clearer.

Just wanted to share this because I KNOW the struggle with the scale. I KNOW the unhealthy/toxic thought patterns. I KNOW the punishing myself because the number on the scale isn’t smaller... and I KNOW there are a lot of people that can relate.

Our bodies are always and WILL always be changing through different seasons of life. So stop wasting your precious time & energy on things that really don’t matter in the big scheme of things.

Take care of your body & mind so that they will take care of you, then go out there and live your life doing things that make you feel alive... because that is the REAL success. ✨

Why is our health & fitness the first thing that gets pushed aside when life gets crazy? I know I’ve been guilty of it at times.🙋🏼‍♀️🙈

But what I’ve learned from creating a routine rooted in FEELING GOOD, is that when life gets crazy and I LEAN IN to my wellness routine, it all becomes so much more bearable. I’m able to show up as my absolute best self and can handle anything life throws my way!

And this doesn’t mean you’re crushing every single workout or sticking to your nutrition plan 100% of the time- but when you learn how to make yourself a priority even when you feel like you “don’t have the time,” and LEAN IN when the going gets tough- your life becomes a lot fuller, your mind becomes a lot clearer, your relationships become a lot healthier and YOU become a lot happier.

And sometimes we DO need to take a break from our workouts, meal plans & books- self care looks different at times and that’s OKAY!

But let’s stop telling ourselves that we’re “TOO BUSY” to make our health a priority because what could possibly be more valuable than our health?

If you’re ready to ditch the excuses but don’t know where to begin- I have 3 spots left in my Fit For Fall Bootcamp! I’d love to show you that it doesn’t have to be complicated, overwhelming or time consuming!

So come join us! We start Monday!! Let’s get EXCITED about making ourselves a priority! ❤️
