Yesterday we took the metro to the 10th arrondissement of Paris to the iconic agnès b. shop that sells dead stock fabric in the rear of their large shop. They were absolutely lovely when I inquired about it and led me to the back to a “cut your own fabric” section set up for you and sold by the meter. You can choose your fabrics, cut them, then head to the front to let them know how many meters you cut and off you go! What a fun experience! I love Agnès B. clothing and am going to make napkins with embroidery French words on them. These will be very unique sets! Cannot wait. 🖤♥️
There were limited choices but the company headquarters nearby will be selling larger quantities next week. The address is

1️⃣ Placemats! I like round ones like the plate shape for ease around the table.
2️⃣ Plates set the tone but promise me you will remember every day is worth the china. I inherited this Minton set from my Aunt Louise. 💙
3️⃣ Flatware is fun! I love these gold ones from West Elm.
4️⃣ Cloth napkins always! Even for casual evenings. My napkins only need a cold wash and a low dryer! Paper towels….just no, for my sake and Mother Earth. 😘
5️⃣ A small touch isn’t necessary, but a snip of herbs, flowers or greenery add a personal touch that is so important.
