This plane was a big part of our Rocktober Birthday Celebration. Three flights to San Diego for concerts made her birthday wish to see her favorite bands come true. The hard work that comes with learning to fly and maintaining a plane older than I am is most definitely worth it in times like these!

A few shots and a video from our Labor Day trip - L.A. to the Gorge Amphitheater in WA! It’s about 6-7 hours of flying each way, plus picking up an RV and driving to the venue. Best weekend ever. Flying down the Columbia just over the water was the icing on the cake for such a great trip!

In my last video, I flew an instrument approach using only my iPad and stratus 2s. I learned a ton. Since then I got a new iPad (the SV seems smoother) and more importantly configured the data blocks for IFR flight. I also discovered that you can fine tune the AHRS calibration manually. So I can precisely match it to my actual flight instruments while in flight and it saves the calibration. I’ll still check it every now and then probably about as often as I have to log VOR functionality for IFR flight. Swipe to see the calibration screen. If you missed that YouTube video follow link in bio - it’s def worth a watch.

Great catching up with my friend in South Florida. ✈️🏝️So stoked for him and the success of his Authorized Cirrus Training Center . It’s inspiring to see his dedication to great quality flight training. If you’re going to learn to fly and want to do it in a Cirrus, is the place! Congrats

Our THIRD ANNUAL Baja Mexico whale watching trip just wrapped up and it was once again an incredible adventure. Members came from as far north as Portland and flew down to Loreto- almost all the way down the east side of the Baja peninsula. We help them through the process of Mexican procedures to make this an easy and unforgettable experience. Great flying, camaraderie, and tacos!
