What a fantastic weekend at the Pacific Northwest Veterinary Conference.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Pathwood Veterinary Laboratories booth to say hello, learn more about PVL, talk diagnostics, or simply catch up. We loved meeting so many veterinarians, veterinary technicians, practice managers, students, and friends from across the Pacific Northwest.

One of our favorite parts of events like this is getting out from behind the microscope and spending time with the veterinary community we’re so fortunate to serve. 🔬🐾

We’re excited to be exhibiting at the Pacific Northwest Veterinary Conference this weekend, bringing together veterinarians, veterinary technicians, practice managers, and veterinary students from across the region.

Cats, community, and a very worthwhile cause. 🐈🌲💜

Tomorrow evening, members of the Pathwood Veterinary Laboratories team will be attending the 2026 Nine Lives Gala: Enchanted Furrest, supporting Seattle Area Feline Rescue (SAFe Rescue).

This one is particularly special to us because our own Lab Manager & Lead Histotech, Dakota Adams, HTL (ASCP), BSc, volunteers with SAFe and has seen firsthand the incredible work their team does for cats in our community.

Each year, SAFe helps approximately 1,500 cats and kittens find loving homes, including seniors and cats with special medical needs. We’re proud to support an organization doing so much for the cats and people of the Seattle area.

And yes.....an enchanted forest full of cat people is pretty much our kind of Saturday night! 🌿🐾

Can’t attend? The Nine Lives Gala online auction is open through September 20th, so you can still join in the fun and support SAFe from afar.

Today's the day!

PacVet 2026 is officially underway, and our team is excited for a great weekend of learning, networking, and connecting with colleagues throughout the veterinary community.

We're looking forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new friends, and spending time with the people who make veterinary medicine such a rewarding profession.

Our quality control manager, Chive, has completed the final luggage inspection and has officially approved our trip to PacVet 2026. ✈️

After a detailed review of all conference materials (and possibly a search for treats), we're ready to head from Seattle to Sacramento!

With PacVet 2026 just around the corner, we're excited to reconnect with so many friends and colleagues from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine community.

Both Dr. Jason Wood and Dr. Lauralea Colamussi are proud UC Davis graduates, and we're looking forward to seeing classmates, mentors, former colleagues, and fellow Aggies in Sacramento this week.
