Yesterday, TiE Women Seattle brought together women founders for an evening of bold ideas, real stories, and meaningful connections at our first ever Open Mic Night.
Seven founders- Rashmi Raghavendra, Jagrati Shringi, Saranya Amirthalingam, Gayathri Venkataraman, Deepika Sharma, Neha Agarwal, and Komal Kashiramka Bhandari took the stage to share what they’re building, the challenges they’re navigating, and the support they’re looking for.
One thing we were reminded of: behind every venture is a person making difficult decisions, learning as they go, and finding the courage to ask for what they need. The founders showed us that sharing your story is not just about pitching an idea, it’s also about inviting others to be part of the journey. And sometimes, one thoughtful question or a new connection can open the door to the next step.
A special thank-you to our review panel, Madhu Singh, Attorney, and Shaibal Roy, for sharing their time and insights, and to TiE for the vision and hard work behind bringing this event to life.
A huge thank you to Sharmilli Ghosh, Sonu Aggarwal, Aalok 🦄 Doshi, Niya Desai, Tara Prakriya, Pradnya Desh, Monika Panpaliya, Karan M Gupta, Vijay Vashee, Gowri Shankar & Shirish Nadkarni.
Here’s to continuing to make space for women founders to be heard, supported, and connected.
