This week, the Trump administration repealed EPA limits on climate pollution from fossil fuel-burning power plants. Now, state leaders and agencies are looking to give the Trump administration a major assist by fast-tracking the first new gas plant in decades.

For utility companies and polluters, that might mean more profits. For the rest of us, it means higher bills, dirtier air, and adding fuel to the climate crisis. Washington must walk the walk and continue to lead on strong climate action and defend clean energy progress.
