As a founding member of Art + Culture Week, AMcE Creative Arts is once again thrilled to participate in this citywide festival.
Art + Culture Week is an annual celebration of Seattle’s vibrant visual and performing arts communities. The week gives an additional platform to the voices, makers, performers, and organizations that define the city’s creative and cultural life force. The event also brings Seattle into a national conversation with similar art weeks in New York City, Denver, and San Francisco. This is Art + Culture Week’s fourth annual event.
The 2026 Art + Culture Week partners include a diverse range of venues and nonprofit organizations, including the Seattle Art Museum, Frye Art Museum, Henry Art Gallery, Whim W’Him, Photographic Center Northwest, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Traver Gallery, Minimart City Park, Artist Trust, Town Hall, and J Rinehart Gallery among others.
Visit Seattle is Art + Culture Week's new destination sponsor, joining ongoing supporters Shunpike and Marquand Books.
As part of Art + Culture Week, AMcE Creative Arts will host artist Ian Brownlee for a narrative drawing workshop presented in conjunction with Self. Reflexive., AMcE Creative Art's current exhibition.

I am very pleased to share this *lovely* article on "Sacred," its artists, and the gallery, in the Madison Park Times (also in print in the Queen Anne and Magnolia News). It was thoughtfully written by Laura Marie Rivera - my sincere thanks for such a wonderful article! 🥰🙏🏼

Delighted that "Sacred" and the incredible artist Io Palmer got this wonderful nod in Cascade PBS's Art x NW. Our thanks to the lovely Brangien Davis for celebrating Io and her powerful work.
Please watch Brangien's 9/25 interview with Io for "Art by Northwest" - it illuminates the creation and life-force central to Io's work. I have a link in my Instagram bio links (.creative.arts). And swipe here to see images of Io's work in "Sacred."
Then see the work in person! It's such a joyous installation, and I feel honored to work with Io and provide a platform to share her inspiring art.
