WEEKLY HAPPENINGS 5/16-5/22
Â
The Kraken sled team traveled to Dallas to compete in the annual USA Hockey Sled Nationals Championship. We had the opportunity to skate with some new players from the Midwest, including Abby Judson, who practices with the USA Nationals team as an alternate. This was her first tournament in the adult league! We look forward to seeing them all again soon at the Hendrickson Festival in Blaine, Minnesota. The weekend included a meet and greet with some Paralympic and National team members and the opportunity to see a Texas longhorn cattle drive through the streets of Dallas. The team ended up in 5th place and got the chance to cheer on the Utah Mammoth and Colorado Avalanche, with whom we have played with before. It was a great weekend of community and hockey with some time for fun in the sun!Â
