Join us at Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands on July 21 from 10 am to 4 pm for “Essentials of a School Garden Program", a Garden Educator Workshop.

In this workshop, learn essential components of how to coordinate, maintain, and teach in a successful school garden, from preschool to high school. This workshop provides 5.5 STEM clock hours from Tilth Alliance, a WA OPSI approved clock hour provider.

Lend a hand at The Seasonal Table!

We are looking for volunteers to help set, serve, clean (and taste!) a delicious meal by acclaimed Chef Aaron Tekulve of Surrell at The Seasonal Table on Wednesday, June 24 at Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands. Shifts include set-up, clean-up, and general support for an event that runs 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

To keep up with bed preparation, weeding, planting, orchard upkeep, harvesting, and more, we have added two new Wednesday morning volunteer work parties. Join us at Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands on Wednesdays from 10 am to 12 pm to help make our production field and our Gathering Garden all they can be!
