Sharing highs and lows at every PEPS meeting is a simple but powerful practice. It gives parents a dedicated space each week to share the beautiful moments and the tough moments, knowing they're not alone. And while it doesn't make the hard moments go away, having a community around you makes them easier to carry.

Join PEPS and Children's Alliance for Advocacy Camp on October 24!

Advocacy Camp is a free, one-day training designed for people who are curious about advocacy and want to learn more about the tools needed to drive policy change in Washington State.

Parents, caregivers, and community members will participate in interactive learning sessions to build and strengthen skills to engage in policy advocacy -- and also share about their family's experience with youth behavioral health.

You're Invited: Annual Halloween Party at Childish Things! 🎃

Come celebrate with Childish Things on October 18th, 1 - 4 pm! The store is inviting kids in costume for face painting, treats, and some good old-fashioned Halloween fun. The shop will be open and parents are encouraged to browse while the little ones play.

What to expect:
• Costumes welcome (the more creative, the better)

So, you survived the newborn phase once. But now you're doing it again while also parenting an older child (or multiple!) at the same time. In acknowledgment of the unique set of challenges parents face when managing a newborn as well as older children, PEPS offers the Second Time Around group so parents can build community with others who "get it."
