Why do we not provide soy sauce bottles on every table?
We are dedicated in offering seasonal seafood with high quality and delicate flavors that would be over looked if heavily spiced. We make everything in house, prioritize working with local fisherman, foragers and Tribes🖤 We prioritize things we can do for this earth and our oceans and our community. We are a very different sushi experience from our neighbors and at times it may cause confusion for some of our customers. If you can’t live with out it, we make our own shoyu in house too!

Last Thursday, July 23rd ice agents kidnapped Eduardo Aguirre Esparza in West Seattle. He has no record. He is a loving husband, father and small business owner in Seattle. He was never given his rights, there was no due process. He has already been pushed through the system fast and has ended up in El Paso, Texas. This is illegal. We need to support his wife as she navigates this absolute nightmare. There is a protest in the Junction this Sunday, August 2nd during the farmers market. We will also be donating Sunday’s proceeds to their fundraiser.

Mashiko is moving?!?!
You heard it here first folks! After 32 years in our humble location, It’s time to say goodbye to the building as it’ll be torn down sooner than later. The Junction and y’all are special to us in so many ways. We’ve been through a lot together! First dates, anniversaries, birthdays, saying goodbyes and welcoming others, but don’t fret! We’re not going far! We’ll be relocating to White Center, where both Mariah and Alix each call home. We hope that you’ll come and see us in the Junction over the next few months and say goodbye to the location that has brought us all together over the last 3 decades. It’s been an honor to serve you here and we look forward to creating new memories with you in the future location (to be announced soon).
