This bad boy turns 7! The roots go back even further. Thanks for everyone who helped make our sprawling, complex, sappy and snarling first full album — especially William and Luke who kept working, even when I fled to Spain. It was a joy. Still is. - IS

Two years ago we released this heart-on-sleeve-y EP, a continuation of what we started on Spanish Ways to Say Goodbye. Some fine moments with the band in the studio. And fun departures in digital-land. Big thanks to all the lovelies who contributed: William Cremin, Luke Rägnar, Matt Badger, Jessie Allen, Helen Chance, Kennith Darling, Jamie Henwood, Nicole LaBrie, Faith Eskola, Floyd Reitsma and Ed Brooks. Can’t wait for the next adventure! 😘

How do you keep socks on a baby? That’s the subject of my new song for Rise Up Music Project. It’s a lullaby turned chaos to mimic these unpredictable newborn days. Find it wherever you listen to podcasts. 👇

This music isn’t technically “Invisible Shivers” just yet, but if you want to hear how I’m exploring songs this year through the lens of being a new dad, I have a new song out today and every 29th of each month this year on the Rise Up Music Project podcast. Seriously, it’s a great podcast for hearing how artists work — and some great friends and collaborators like Extrawilliam have participated over the years if want to dig into the archives. You may even find two unreleased songs I shared years ago. xo — IS
