Thank you for joining us for the Fireside Chat with Andrew Lam 📚
We were honored to host an evening of conversation with acclaimed author and journalist Andrew Lam and Dr. Julie Pham, exploring writing, journalism, and the Vietnamese diaspora.
From vivid reflections on growing up between Vietnam and the U.S., to stories of love, loss, and identity, Andrew shared how his life - and even his mother’s storytelling - has shaped his voice as a writer.
One attendee shared, “It felt like listening to stories that were deeply personal and so familiar at the same time.”
We look forward to hosting more book events and community discussions. Stay tuned for our next Book Talk with Cindy Nguyen on Bibliotactics, exploring libraries in early 20th century Vietnam on Thursday, April 2 from 7–9 PM.
