The entry sets the tone for everything inside. Here, a custom steel screen carries from the front entry all the way to the stair railing, threading the same pattern through the home.

The Tree House. A home already rooted in its surroundings, renovated to match what was always there. Cedar shingles, warm wood tones, and connections to the canopy.

Some of our favorite projects begin with unconventional buildings.

A split-level perched on a steep hillside. A gambrel-roofed barn. A home with unusual proportions and unexpected spaces.

These buildings ask more questions than a typical house, but they also offer richer opportunities for design.

Rather than fighting what makes them unique, we look for ways to build upon it.

The result is architecture that feels rooted in its place, its history, and the people who live there.

Folding glass walls open and the distinction between inside and out quietly dissolves at Woodway. The patio and the dining room become one space.

After two years of studying and six exams, Charlie is a capital A Architect. We are so proud of you, Charlie!

The stair at Medina Residence is one of the first things you see when you arrive. Open treads and steel stringers frame a view straight through to the garden, setting the tone before you've taken your shoes off.
