✨ The Secret Behind Every Flavorful Indian Curry?
Garam Masala! ✨
That little spoonful of garam masala added at the end of cooking can completely transform a dish. 🌿
Made from a blend of aromatic spices like cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, cumin, coriander, black pepper, and more, garam masala is the heart of Indian cooking. Every family has their own special recipe, passed down from generation to generation. ❤️
Fun fact: Garam masala doesn't mean "hot and spicy." The word "garam" refers to the warming properties of the spices, which is why it has been a staple in Indian kitchens for centuries.
I always recommend adding garam masala towards the end of cooking to preserve its beautiful aroma and rich flavor. 😍
Do you make your own garam masala at home or use a store-bought blend?

🧊🤫 The Secret to Extra Creamy Hummus!
Everyone asks me, "How do you make your hummus so smooth and creamy?"
The answer isn't more olive oil.
It isn't more tahini.
It's an ICE CUBE! 🧊✨
Adding 1–2 ice cubes while blending chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil creates a lighter, fluffier, restaurant-style hummus with the most amazing texture.
Sometimes the smallest kitchen tricks make the biggest difference! ❤️
Serve it with warm with homemade pita bread, fresh veggies, in wraps, or simply enjoy it by the spoonful. 😋
Ultra Creamy Hummus
Ingredients
1 can (15 oz / 425 g) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
¼ cup tahini
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
½ tsp cumin powder (optional)
½ tsp salt (or to taste)
2–4 tbsp cold water, as needed
1–2 ice cubes 🧊
For Garnishing
Extra virgin olive oil
Paprika or red chili powder
Chopped parsley (optional)
A few whole chickpeas
Method
Add tahini and lemon juice to a food processor or blender. Blend for 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.
Add garlic, olive oil, cumin powder, and salt. Blend again.
Add chickpeas and blend until the mixture starts becoming smooth.
Add 1–2 ice cubes and continue blending.
If needed, add cold water 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach a silky, creamy consistency.
Blend for 2–3 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed.
Transfer to a serving bowl.
Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with paprika, parsley, and a few chickpeas.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with:
Homemade pita bread
Fresh vegetables
Falafel
Sandwiches and wraps
Mediterranean platters
💡 Secret Tip: The ice cubes help whip air into the hummus, making it lighter, fluffier, and extra creamy—just like restaurant-style hummus!
