Washington Rush Baseball

BIG FIELDS. BIGGER DREAMS. ⚾️

Sometimes the biggest lessons in baseball come in the smallest packages.

Learn the game.
Find your people.
Build confidence.
And maybe write yourself a little reminder for the days it gets hard:

NEVER GIVE UP.

That’s what the Rush Junior Academy is all about. 💙

You get ONE walk-up song for the rest of your baseball career. What’s coming through the speakers? 🎶⚾️

🔥 Going full hype?
😂 Something completely unhinged to throw off the defense?
🤠 Country vibes?
🎧 Urban beats?
😎 Or something so unexpected the whole park has to stop and listen?

Drop the song + artist below.

And choose wisely. We’re absolutely judging your baseball aura based on this. 👀

The season changes. The work doesn’t. 🍂⚾

Fall ball. Extra reps. A little more time in the cage. A little more attention to the details.

For some, fall means another season on the field. For our youngest players, it means Sundays at the Rush Junior Academy, building fundamentals and growing their game.

Because spring might get the spotlight, but ballplayers are built all year long.

Keep playing. Keep learning. Keep getting better.

Important baseball question.

Eye black guy or no eye black guy?

And if you ARE an eye black guy… are we talking two clean lines, full war paint, or whatever happens in the dugout five minutes before first pitch? 😂

We see a LOT of fresh faces, but eye black is a whole vibe too.

FROM THE ARCHIVES. 📂

2023 called.

Still dirty.
Still loud.
Still spending summer at the ballpark.

Rush before some of today’s players were even Rush. ⚾️

Some weeks deserve their own stat line. 👀

Porter Smith in Cooperstown:

⚾ .583 at the plate
💣 6 home runs
🔥 11 RBIs
💪 2 wins on the mound
⚡ 17 strikeouts

All that and still loves his mama.

Yeah. That’ll play.

Big-time week on a big-time stage for .

Summer baseball gets the highlights.
Fall baseball builds what comes next.

Different season. Same standard.

Back to work. ⚾️

Five hours in the car.
Long weekends at the ballpark.

Early mornings. Late nights. Packed coolers. Hotel rooms. Miles and miles and miles.

And a kid who gets home from it all and still doesn’t want to take off his uniform. 💙

That’s youth baseball.

It takes a village to give these kids the opportunity to chase something they love. Parents who get them there. Coaches who invest in them. Teammates who become friends. Families who spend a whole lot of their lives together on the other side of a fence.

At Rush, we know we’re not just building baseball players.

We’re building a community around them.

And when they love it enough to keep the uniform on for three more hours after a five-hour drive home?

Yeah. We’d say it’s worth it.
