CBTU and Puget Sound Chapter CBTU was Well Represented at the Washington State Labor Council COPE Endorsement Conference , led by WSLC President April Sims and Sec-Treasurer Cherika Carter . A number of our Chapter members, Kevin Allen from WFSE Local 843 Fisher from Education Association, and Franklin from were there as well as our Chapter Secretary Dickey who was working behind the scenes as WSLC Staff. On Monday, Kevin Allen was able to stop by the Benu Africatown Community Land Trust BENU Home and drop off collected items and funds. This is part of our National CBTU Men's Committee Ongoing Initiative to Support Shelters servicing our Unhoused Men. We have been working on this since early 2025 and will Continue to do so. We're Proud to be able to do our "little part" and Encourage our Union Siblings and Friends to join and Support this effort.
