iBuildBridges — MUSICIANS WANTED!

iBuildBridges is growing, and we’re looking for new musicians to join our Bridge Builders!

Our ensemble brings together talented musicians from different backgrounds and stages of their musical journeys — from students in their final years of high school to musicians who have recently graduated from college.

We are currently auditioning:
Horn Section — trumpet, trombone, saxophone, flute
Singers
Guitar
Bass

We’re looking for musicians who are committed, curious, collaborative, and comfortable reading sheet music. Strong music-reading skills are required.

Rehearsals: Mondays, twice a month, 6:00–9:00 p.m.
The Roadhouse — SeaTac
$50 per rehearsal
Hot meal provided
Paid performances

We bring our diverse identities to the 4th of July, this American picnic. I am proud to be so many things, as well as an American. Remembering my Polish and German ancestors, immigrants through Ellis Island. Thinking of my Scottish/English grandfather, who came as an immigrant another time. Thinking of my friends, gay, straight, trans. Thinking of my friends true to their many faiths: Muslim, Christian, Jewish, spiritual but not religious, Sikh, Quaker, Athiest…and on. United in love and service. Remembering my family and friends with diverse racial identities. We all belong here. Build bridges, not walls.
