A very special commission.
18k yellow gold, built around an artist’s drawings of two skulls representing his sons, Otto and Mac. Hand engraved, with a heart-shaped ruby, shield-cut diamond, and a hidden flipping mechanism.
Hearts and shields 💀⚔️❤️
More on this one soon.

I Know You Rider
A mourning ring made in memory of my aunt’s fiancé, Kenny, and in celebration of the life they shared.
Her great love is horses. His was motorcycles, and he was a lifelong Deadhead.
Around the ring, a horse and a skeleton riding a motorcycle travel in the same direction, forever following one another. Two riders, endlessly chasing each other.
The horse’s mane flows into ornamental scrollwork, wrapping around the motorcycle’s handlebars and connecting the two. The motorcycle’s exhaust dissolves into that same flowing scrollwork, turning hair, smoke, and wind into a single continuous current around the ring.
The imagery became tied to I Know You Rider, and especially to its themes of departure, being missed when you’re gone, wandering, and continuing onward. The song’s March winds became part of how I began to understand the story: wind moving through the horse’s mane, trailing behind the motorcycle, carrying memory forward and keeping the two riders connected.
A piece about grief, but also about movement, love, and a life worth remembering.
“I know you rider, gonna miss me when I’m gone.”
Made in platinum and 24k yellow gold, entirely hand engraved and chased, with the beads and settings raised by hand as well. Kenny’s ashes are held behind each of the 24k gold sections, physically becoming part of the ring.
The central diamond is a stone Kenny gave to her. It’s surrounded by pink and purple sapphires, along with their birthstones, amethyst and ruby.

Seattle Seahawks Championship Rings
Do you love us? Or do you hate us?
Platinum & 18k rose gold rings featuring diamonds, sapphires and emeralds
When a piece really matters, there is a point where preparation, instinct and ex*****on start happening at the same time. I just try to stay out of the way. Athletes call it a flow state. The Darkside Rings came out of that feeling.
The imagery traces the history of the Seahawks logo back to a nineteenth-century Kwakwaka’wakw transformation mask from Vancouver Island. Its structure, particularly the transformation that occurs when it opens, became a point of departure for my own composition.
The process reaches backward too. Between the NFC Championship and Super Bowl, I visited Providence and Potter Jewelry in Tucson and their incredible archive of historic jewelry hubs. That experience inspired me to carve my own design into tool steel and bring the nearly lost art of die striking into the piece.
These aren’t replicas of the rings awarded to the team. They’re my way of turning the feeling of this championship and love for the team into something permanent.
For the doubters, the haters and everyone who already moved on.
What happens when the Darkside cuts the water off?

One of my favorite pieces I’ve ever made… back in the wild.
This Lichtenstein Rolex set — watch + ring — features a blue sapphire to diamond gradient bezel with 24k gold inlay throughout.
My client loves it and isn’t in a rush, just seeing if there’s someone out there who wants to carry it forward.
Both pieces available.
