Join us for our upcoming Crisis Awareness & Communication in Peer Support Training! This is a robust 40-hour crisis response training to increase the number of behavioral health CPCs/CPSSs who can responsibly serve individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

Prerequisites: Complete the online HCA Power of Peer Support in Crisis Services Learning and be a CPC/Certified Peer Support Specialist. CPSS-Ts are not eligible for this training.

Schedule note: We recognize that this training begins on Indigenous Peoples' Day, a day to honor the histories, cultures, resilience, and enduring contributions of Indigenous peoples who have cared for and stewarded these lands since time immemorial.

This training aims to provide guidance and support for supervisors working with Peer Specialists in the behavioral health field. The intention is to provide information through a recovery lens to enhance the supervisory relationship and promote trauma-informed care while incorporating culturally responsive practices.

It will further provide practical tools for supervisors to effectively aid the Peer Specialists they supervise. The Train the Trainer gives practice with tools to facilitate the Supervision Training.
