Great afternoon at Finnriver!

The Jellyfish flash dance was successfully performed at the Jellyfish Brewing Company yesterday! The Fremont Arts Council led a jellyfish lantern workshop and 3 of us also made the lanterns. (Lantern making continues today, tomorrow, and Tuesday, noon-8 each day, at the Powerhouse - 3040 Fremont Ave N, if you want to make one, or help make lanterns for others for the Luminata next Saturday!) https://fremontartscouncil.org/get-involved

SeaWitch is dancing at Green Lake twice this week! Tonight (Wednesday, Aug. 26), we are starting at the Bathhouse Theater at 6:30pm, and working our way around the top (north side) of the Lake with a few dances in several selected spots, retiring at dusk for a refreshing beverage. On Sunday (August 30), we will be dancing out with Sound and Fury Morris and the MossyBack Morris Men near the Green Lake Community Center starting at 6pm. Listen for bells - you'll find us! We had a great time dancing out with the MossyBack Morris Men on Queen Anne last Sunday! SeaWitch will not be practicing at Greenwood Park this coming Wednesday (Aug. 26) but dancing somewhere TBD. On Sunday, August 30, we will be joining other sides for an end-of-summer danceout at Green Lake. Both danceouts start around 6. More info to be posted!

SeaWitch and the MossyBack Morris Men will be dancing out on Sunday, August 16th on Queen Anne, starting at 12:30 at The Counterbalance (Queen Anne Ave N & Gayler), then continuing along Queen Anne Ave until 3pm.

Out of precaution (with the air quality due to smoke), we have moved tonight's practice indoors to room 7 at the Phinney Center
