The Seattle Police Foundation supports programs and resources that promote physical and mental wellness, strengthen connection and recognize the dedication of SPD employees.

From wellness and fitness resources to opportunities that build camaraderie and provide a chance to recharge, these investments help support those who serve Seattle every day.

Sometimes, making a difference really is as simple as a glass of cold water. πŸ’§

For years, the North Parking Enforcement office relied on bottled water to keep staff hydrated. Through a Seattle Police Foundation grant, the office now has a purified water dispenser where PEOs and officers can refill their bottles with fresh, cold water throughout the day.

It may be a simple piece of equipment, but for staff who spend much of their shifts outside, it's already making a difference, especially during Seattle's warm summer days.

Sometimes the smallest investments make everyday work a little better.

The SPD Climbing Club wrapped up another season on Mt. Baker, closing out a season of challenging climbs, skill building, and connection.

Throughout the season, members took on climbs that strengthened teamwork, builds confidence, and created opportunities to connect outside of their day-to-day work.

Supporting employee wellness is an important part of the Seattle Police Foundation's work. Programs like the Climbing Club provide opportunities for SPD employees to stay active, build strong relationships with colleagues, and develop the resilience and camaraderie that carry back into their work and everyday lives.

We're proud to support programs that invest in the wellbeing of SPD employees and congratulate the Climbing Club on a great season!
