Wavehounds Surf Shop

Wave Hounds surf shop opened its doors in June of 2005 and we have been steadily growing our inventory since then. We currently have about 200 surfboards in stock to choose from, both new and used, and we also accept custom orders for many brands of surfboards. We also carry a good selection of surf accessories, wetsuits, bodyboarding gear, surf movies and much more. We like to offer unique clothing and jewelry from the surf brands that you won’t find at the mall! Wave Hounds is owned and operated by Todd Welter who grew up on the Oregon coast and has been surfing since he was 13. He has worked at different surf shops in the past, and also tried other paths in life, but eventually came to a realization that surfing was his true calling. His family didn’t want him to become a surf bum, so owning a surf shop was the second best choice. Todd brings to Wave Hounds his extensive surfing experience, knowledge and passion for surfing. He loves helping people and he always takes time to talk to his customers, to find out about their needs and suggest the equipment that will work the best for them.
