Fall is the perfect time to start a microneedling series! ❤️
Microneedling stimulates collagen production to reduce fine lines and improve overall skin texture and tone. You'll be glowing after just one session, but results are even more profound when you space 4 treatments 4-6 weeks apart. And here's the great part! I'm running a Fall microneedling special!
Book four treatments and save 20%
✨ Microneedling + Holistic Acupuncture: $800 (save $200)
✨ Just Microneedling: $480 (save $120)
Full payment is required upfront, and packages are valid for one year. DM or email me to book!

Just completed Dry Needling Level 2 with Myopain Seminars this weekend, and I'm excited to bring these new skills into the clinic ✌️
This course expanded my ability to treat pain and dysfunction with a whole new set of muscles that I know will be incredibly clinically useful! We also practiced scar tissue and fascial dry needling techniques. I'm looking forward to adding these tools to help you move better, hurt less, and recover more completely 💪
Come see me in the clinic and experience the benefits of dry needling for yourself! For certain types of muscle and joint pain, it can make a world of difference 🫶

Have needles🪡 ; will travel 🧳
Thankfully, I had some acupuncture needles with me when I visited my sister in Denver last month. Her boyfriend was dealing with a sore elbow after their latest move. A quick acupuncture treatment helped get things moving in the right direction so he could get back to enjoying life and settling into their new place 🙌🏡
Take me on your next vacation?? I promise I'm a good time🍹😎
Or come see me in the clinic! Schedule at the link in my bio

Exactly one million people asked me if I had seen the recent New York Times article about fascia, the interstitium, and the body's interconnected tissue networks.
Okay, maybe not exactly one million. But a lot. 😄
One of the things I love most about practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine is watching modern science develop new ways of describing phenomena that TCM practitioners have been observing for thousands of years.
In TCM, we talk about channels and connections throughout the body. We know that a point on the foot can influence the head, that treating the arm can affect the neck, and that the body functions as an integrated whole rather than a collection of isolated parts.
From a Western perspective, researchers are increasingly studying fascia, the continuous web of connective tissue that surrounds and connects muscles, organs, nerves, and blood vessels throughout the body. Rather than separate structures working independently, the body appears to function through complex networks of communication and connection. Research has also found significant overlap between some myofascial pathways and traditional acupuncture channels.
Does that mean fascia and acupuncture meridians are exactly the same thing? Not necessarily. There is still much we don't know. But I find it fascinating that modern anatomy and physiology continue to uncover layers of connection that support a more integrated view of the human body.
Sometimes science doesn't replace ancient wisdom. It just gives us a new language to talk about it.

Rest is a radical act of self love in a world that glorifies exhaustion 💚 I hope you get that long weekend rest you deserve!

As we move from the end of June into July, there is a subtle shift in energy. Can you feel it 🦋
The pace changes. The days are still long, but there is a subtle invitation to slow down, reset, and recalibrate.
After a full month of FIFA excitement in Seattle, travel, events, and packed schedules, many people start to feel it in their bodies. Fatigue, tight shoulders, disrupted sleep, overstimulation, and that general sense of running a little “hot.”
This is where acupuncture can be incredibly supportive. Acupuncture helps regulate the nervous system, calm the stress response, improve sleep quality, support digestion, and ease muscular tension that builds up from both activity and stress.
Think of this as a reminder to schedule your mid-year reset 🌊
A moment to check in with your body before summer fully takes over.
Rest. Recover. 💙

Yay Sports! How are my Seattle folks hanging in there with all the FIFA madness? ⚽
Okay but for real, I treat a lot of athletes.
From weekend warriors to serious competitors, a huge part of sports performance is recovery. Acupuncture and dry needling are commonly used to help with muscle tension, soreness, injury recovery, sleep, and nervous system regulation after intense training or games.
When your body is under constant load, it needs support to reset. That is where treatment can make a real difference, especially during busy competition seasons. Many professional soccer players use acupuncture as part of their recovery and performance routines. It is commonly incorporated alongside physical therapy, strength training, and other recovery strategies to help manage muscle soreness, support injury recovery, improve sleep, and keep their bodies performing at a high level throughout long seasons.
You do not have to be a pro athlete to take recovery seriously. Schedule an appointment at the link in my bio!

Happy Summer Solstice! ☀️
June 21 marks the longest day of the year and the peak of Yang energy in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Yang is associated with warmth, activity, movement, growth, and connection. Just look around. The days are long, gardens are thriving, people are gathering outdoors, and there is a natural sense of expansion in the air.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Summer is connected to the Heart, which governs not only circulation but also joy, connection, and our ability to engage meaningfully with the world around us. This season invites us to spend time with friends, enjoy good conversation, move our bodies, laugh often, and soak up the energy of longer days.
At the same time, peak Yang reminds us that balance matters. Too much activity without rest can leave us feeling depleted. Summer is a wonderful time to embrace what brings you joy while still making space for sleep, hydration, nourishment, and moments of quiet.
As we reach the height of the light, take a moment to appreciate the abundance of the season and consider what helps you feel most alive.
Happy Solstice and let's do Summer like only Seattle can!

Today we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, culture, and community.
Juneteenth is both a celebration and a reminder. A celebration of the strength, contributions, and achievements of Black Americans, and a reminder that the work of creating a more just and equitable society continues.
As healthcare providers, community members, and neighbors, we all have a role to play in building spaces where people feel respected, valued, and supported.
Today is an opportunity to reflect, learn, celebrate, and honor the generations whose courage and perseverance helped shape the world we live in today.
