Shop Of Horrors is FINALLY back! 👻🪩

Now in its ninth year running, Savvy Entertainment Group Shop of Horrors has ballooned into one of Seattle’s largest and most premier Halloween parties! 🎃

Last year there were over 1600 attendees, so expect a packed house with fire dancers, performers, multiple bars and VIP areas, as well as separate EDM and hip-hop DJ stages! 🤟🏼

We’ve officially rung in spooky season with another quarterly visit to Can Can Culinary Cabaret and the vibes could not be ANY better! 🤌🏻

Between Zombie Cheerleaders From Hell and the Haunted Library pop-up bar, this was everything we needed and more! The show was incredible as per usual, the food was equally as delicious, the drinks were flowing and all was well in the world! 🎃

Something new just dropped from a soap maker who used to work at Microsoft. 👀

We met Poornima at her popup at the Kirkland market and heard her whole story, from watching her mom make homemade face masks growing up, to leaving her career at Microsoft to build Citrus Tree ®️ | Ayurvedic Skincare + Natural Soap. Today she’s officially launching a new perfume and facial oil, made with just essential oils. ✨ Her name literally means “full moon,” and the launch happens to land on an actual full moon. Go check it out!

We checked out Seoul Glow Spa - Korean Headspa, Skincare & Nails in Ballard and did a facial, head spa, and acrylic nails! 💅 They scan your face and scalp first so you can actually see what your skin and scalp need, which was our favorite part. They even brought us tea and little chocolates at the end! 🍵

Somehow our favorite farm just got even better 🌾🥹

After 7 visits to Carnation Farms , we’re still finding new things to love. Their new butcher’s counter has farm-raised meat + fresh produce, and the ribeye, cheddar jalapeño sausage & smoked pastrami were SO good. 🥩

We checked out The Remontant | Luxury Home Fragrances in Kirkland and built our own signature scent from scratch with founder Mo, no chemistry degree required! 🧪 Every perfume comes with its own little charm you can wear on a necklace after, so it’s basically two gifts in one.

We checked out Great Notion Washington Ballard taproom and did a full flight, because obviously. The Triple Berry Shake was the standout, tastes like dessert somehow made it into a b**r. Their stouts hit just as hard, we had one that genuinely tasted like a plate of french toast.

Trivia runs weekly, happy hour is daily except Saturdays, and they’ve got a Halloween lineup dropping 9/25, so send this to whoever needs a new fall spot in Ballard! 🎃

With dishes ranging from elote pancakes to chicken fajitas to guava cinnamon rolls, Yõli Mexican Restaurant + Bar is seriously mixing up those traditional flavors with a modern twist (and we’re so here for it)!
