EGGS EGGS EGGS EGGS AT STP 2026

Y’all prepared for take off in Seattle! And now it’s time to rest at the Alaska Layover.
Seattle to Portland Ambassadors Robert Charles and Andrew Weygandt show us WHAT’S UP at the Alaska Airlines Layover at Centralia College.
Riders have chairs, tents, sleeping pads, STP branded eye masks and ear plugs, waiting for them upon arrival to Centralia College. It’s all set up!
The midpoint for this ride has tons of awesome overnight, sleeping arrangements, and this may be our favorite one.

Here’s a little recap of day 1 of this year’s Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic presented by
Participants rolled out of UW, and quickly found themselves at the rest stop where there were meatballs, donuts, and the regular snacks (found at most restaurants stops). The next rest stop was at Kalles Junior High in Puyallup, where was hard at work alongside busy volunteers. Shout out to the person with the mic at the school, you were so cool. Then comes Spanaway Middle School, the official lunch stop. The DJ here is wicked fun, and riders got to enjoy some free ice cream, too. hosted the next rest stop, then came the Ranier stop, hosted by Ranier Pack 9307 Cub Scouts. The Tenino rest stop breaks up the bit of the route along the trail, and they have awesome watermelon.
Day 1 finishes at Centralia College where tents pop up all along the green grass, in between sponsors and community partners ( just to name a few). Riders have a meal and shower, and rest here to finish the last 106 miles, on day 2.

On July 11, 6400 people and their friends and families gathered at UW, to kick off the 2026 Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic.
Participants dropped off their luggage, got last minute mechanic work done, and hit the road with the sunrise.

WAS THIS PAST WEEKEND EVEN REAL? 47 STPs is absolutely remarkable. We’re going to spend this week recapping the weekend, starting with Saturday morning.
