Over 500 Postdocs, Research Staff, and allies marched on the boss to demand fair contracts today! UW leadership should defend and strengthen protections for marginalized communities, not roll them back. And UW leadership refusing to pay Postdocs and Research Staff a livable wage jeopardizes our faculty, their research projects, and the training of the next generation of researchers and scientists.

And community allies, join students in coalition with our union on Sept 30th to demand UW step up for trans workers and students!

☀️ Join UW workers on August 31st as we walk out together to keep up the pressure for fair contracts! On Monday, workers in the College of the Environment marched along Pacific Street to alert the public to our bargaining demands and make it clear that UW Admin's current proposals that fail to protect workers are unacceptable! UAW members in the College of Environment got lots of supportive waves and honks from our community, and visibly demonstrated our solidarity in fighting for the strong contract we deserve.
