WOOF 3D

WOOF is a collaborative collection of the University of Washington’s finest students across all disciplines who are dedicated to the advancement of 3D Printing technology. Imagine a technology where you can easily and accessibly manufacture your ideas and share your creation with the world. Enter 3D printing: an additive process where micro-thin layers of a given raw material (plastic, metal, etc.) Everything from industrial machines to custom shoes to prosthetic limbs can potentially be materialized with 3D printing technology. And ultimately, manufacturing can be decentralized and closer to the end-users to more efficiently create products that benefit those who use them. This means faster prototyping, unbounded innovation, reduced carbon footprint, and a world where people have greater accessibility to the products they need.
