Sunshine Music Together LLC

Just another reason why kids are so fun to hang out with 😍

Have a great weekend!

✨Wondering✨ what your toddler will be learning in their Music Together class?

👀Toddlers are incredible observers and multi-taskers! They might start out just watching, observing, and listening - remember, music class provides lots of sensory input. Soon you'll see them participating in their own way: it might be in the car on the way home, singing a song we did in class, or they might pull out some toys and recreate class at home.

👂Listen and watch closely, and you might hear them matching your pitch, singing and vocalizing the melodic contour of a familiar song. They also can start to feel rhythm in their bodies and can tap toys or instruments, or clap and bounce to a steady rhythm.

🎶And in class, some of our favorite moments are seeing babies and toddlers sit in the circle and immediately start tapping their knees in preparation for the Hello Song! And once they're comfortable in class, toddlers love showing off their skills, helping younger friends learn "how to do Music Together"!

All this, and so so so much more! There's cooperative play, turn taking, counting, gross and small movement learning, and learning across all areas of development too!

1⃣Start by putting the access code into your Music Together app - that way you can listen to your tunes on the go!

🎶As the music becomes more and more familiar to your child, you'll be able to discern favorites, and if you listen carefully you might also hear them humming and singing along.

📖👶Then open up the songbook, and sing your way through it! Enjoy the beautiful pictures, follow the melody notation as you sing, and point to the pictures and words just like you do with your non-musical-storybooks.

🥰And then in the back you'll find the musical memory pages. Write down those memories, I promise you'll want to remember the first time your little one repeats a tonal pattern, sings a song to themselves, or giggles themselves silly bouncing along while you sing to them.

See you in class!
