Teaching youth leaders how to establish a bystander culture that stops bullying. The program guides youth to help themselves.

Stand for Courage provides recognition, community support, and cultural currency to youth who stand up for themselves and others. Meet Nicole Jon Sievers, founder of Stand for Courage.

Stand for Courage was built on a belief that the people who stand up for others have the power to change the culture around them.

And sometimes, the best way to understand why this work matters is to remember the person who once did that for you ❤️

“We are all born superstars.”

Molly Sides’ performance of “Born This Way” was an unforgettable moment from Amplify Courage.

We’re honored to partner with artists who lend their voices to Stand for Courage. Together, we help create a culture where every young person feels seen, supported, and valued.

😉 to a few months ago in April when I was among many incredible artists to perform at the legendary Moore Theater in Seattle in the Amplify Courage Concert. This was easily one of the most meaningful moments in my music career. This event, this charity, this SONG, this band and the incredible solo female performers who all agreed to jump in as backup singers when I asked. They even named themselves “The Stein-ettes” 😭 ✨Molly Sides✨, Shaina Shepherd, and Eva Walker thank you so much for lending me your brilliant voices. And to the band: caspiancoberly, Jeff Fielder, Andy Stoller, Daniel Walker, Ben Smith, Shay Alessi, and Sam Anderson… y’all make it look so dern easy and I know it isn’t. Stand For Courage thank you so much for having me out. Nicole Jon Sievers thank you for breathing the life and magic into it. I’ll remember this one forever.

This is what standing for courage looks like.

A young person showing up for someone else. A moment of connection that might seem small but isn’t.

We’re building a world where that’s celebrated. Our free program is available to every school, youth organization, camp, community center, and sports program.

Music has a way of bringing people together.

That’s exactly what happened last April at Amplify Courage, when Chris Ballew (The Presidents Of The USA) gave us this moment we’ll never forget.

We’re Stand for Courage. We help young people build a culture of courage, kindness, and connection. We believe that when people feel like they belong, they’re more likely to look out for one another, speak up, and make sure no one has to stand alone.

That’s what Amplify Courage was all about ❤️

A song can remind us that the things we struggle with, the things that make us feel different, are often the very things that connect us.

One of many unforgettable moments from Amplify Courage.

Thank you to thebrentsmith & Zach Myers of SHINEDOWN for sharing this unforgettable performance of “Symptom of Being Human” and helping amplify a message that matters: nobody should have to face their challenges alone.

Some moments are too good not to share ❤️ After Amplify Courage wrapped, the conversations kept going at the after party.

New friendships were made. Old friends reunited. Partners, supporters, volunteers, artists, educators, and community members gathered to celebrate what happens when people choose courage over silence.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Amplify Courage such a meaningful night and to everyone who’s continuing to help build a culture where every young person knows they belong.

Most young people can tell you exactly what it feels like to be ignored, excluded, or put down.

They also remember the people who made them feel seen.

A kind word.
A listening ear.
A moment of encouragement.
Someone who believed in them before they believed in themselves.

Small acts can make a lasting difference ❤️
