How do you follow an Offensive Player of the Year season? Apparently, by making NFL history in your first TWO games!

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been virtually unstoppable to begin 2026. He opened the season with eight catches, 122 yards and a touchdown before taking things to another level against Arizona: nine receptions, 155 yards and three touchdowns.

Those performances put him in an exclusive group of just five wide receivers in NFL history with at least eight catches, 120 receiving yards and a touchdown in each of their team's first two games.

And there's another interesting detail heading into Week 3. JSN produced eight receptions and 129 yards the last time he faced Washington, giving Seattle another encouraging sign as it prepares for its next road test.

The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a dominant victory over the Cardinals, and their superstar receiver has been at the center of an outstanding offensive start.

He won the OPOY award last season. Two games into 2026, he's already giving everyone plenty to talk about again.

When you drop stats like that, people have to start asking questions.

The title might just belong to him now. 🥶📈

Seahawks defensive tackle Byron Murphy II grew up a diehard fan of the franchise long before putting on the uniform himself. 💚💙

Murphy recalled being captivated by the team's stars, environment, and culture as a kid.

“Kam Chancellor, Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch, all of them guys... It was also the colors, the crowd... I was like, 'I am a Seattle fan. I am going to ride with them from here on out.'”

From tuning in every weekend to now anchoring Seattle's defensive line, Murphy is living out his ultimate dream.

“Every Sunday, no matter the time or the game, I was there... I watch all 4 quarters, win, lose, or draw... When I got drafted to Seattle, it was a full circle.”
