I never got around to posting these photos from last week when my oldest son, Preston, and I took a trip to the East Coast to visit his best friend (and his mom Erika is one of my good friends). In lieu of the news today of the sad passing of the bright and vibrant Dolly Parton 💔, I thought I'd post pics of our time at Dollywood Parks & Resorts while we were in Tennessee.

RIP Dolly. You were a kind soul who loved everyone. The world will miss you.

Some of you might not know that I have a itty bitty YouTube project that I've been working on this year. I started a 2nd channel for my cinematic vlogs and to have a space where I didn't always have to talk about music. I just posted my season 2 trailer. I went right into concert prep mode the day after my music video for "Time Run" released, and so I didn't get to share a lot of fun extras.

These are just some of my favorite shots from the video. It was a challenge to film with LED tube lights and anamorphic lenses, but I'm really quite happy with how it all turned out. I hope you liked it too!

And here's batch 3 photos from last weekend's concert (Piano by the Pond) at Nelson's Duckpond & Lavender with Ryan Stewart 🎹 .

This batch of photos show the 2nd half after intermission. This was definitely the most challenging portion of the concert - as our instruments got cold and wet - they were going out of tune, and sticky to play. We had to wipe the piano keys down before every song. 😅

Photo 18 is my son Taylor sitting and watching me 😭❤️.

Thank you to Amy Nelson for providing the most magical backdrop to hold a concert like this. I've always dreamed of putting on a concert like this where music and nature meet.
