Wood paneling on a dishwasher: timeless classic or retro nightmare? 🪵👇

Throwing it back to the classic KitchenAid Superba from the 1980s! Built back when KitchenAid was manufactured by Hobart, these heavy-duty units were absolute tanks featuring powerful motors, robust hard food choppers, and that iconic mid-century wood paneling that matched every vintage kitchen. They were built to last, even if they sounded a bit like a jet engine running in your home!

Modern dishwashing care has entered its quiet, high-tech era. Modern KitchenAid Dishwashers trade in the vintage wood veneer for sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, ultra-quiet operation, and flexible three-level loading so you never have to hand-wash large prep tools or delicate glassware again.

The ultimate retro space-saver? Slide out burners!🔥

This is the 1960s Westinghouse Continental Cooktop. This unique appliance featured cooking units built directly into a drawer. When you needed extra burners, you simply pulled the drawer out, then pushed it back flush with your cabinets when finished! ⚙️✨

👉 Swipe to see today’s ultimate cooking upgrade: The Signature Kitchen Suite 36-inch Dual-Fuel Professional Range. Instead of hiding burners away in a drawer, modern design maximizes performance right on top. SKS combines ultra-high heat gas burners with low-simmer precision on top, paired with a high-capacity oven below that features both steam and convection capabilities.
