just launched the Protocol tire and we got in on the first run. We have 6 pairs of the Protocol RCG1 (45mm) arriving the week of September 7th. Preorder yours now for $99/tire.

The RCG1 is built for fast gravel, all road, and pavement-heavy routes. In independent lab testing it posted the lowest rolling resistance and lowest weight in its category. The numbers are in the deck if you want to go deep on it.

Six pairs. First come first served. DM us to reserve yours!

is heading to [email protected] Show in Portland this weekend. Before they go, they're stopping at CBS.

On Wednesday August 19th at 5:30PM, the Mosaic team is bringing the bikes they'll be showing at MADE to the shop for an exclusive preview happy hour. That means never-before-seen sneak peeks of handmade titanium and steel bikes, fresh from Boulder, before anyone at MADE sees them. Drinks and snacks on us.

Free to attend, space is limited. RSVP at the link in bio.

Episode 5 of my longest ride prep. Let's talk nutrition on the road.

It's really easy to get this wrong on long rides. If you wait until you're hungry to eat, then you'll quickly be behind and there's no catching up. The rule I'm going into RSVP with: start eating in the first hour and don't stop. 60 grams of carbs per hour, which sounds like a lot until you realize it's your bottle, a chew, and whatever's on the table working together. Simple carbs hit fast when you need a quick boost, something steadier in your bottle keeps the engine running in between.

Real food at support stops should be part of the plan. Around hour four your gut starts asking for actual food and you should listen to it. Dates, bananas, gummy bears galore!!

For a longer ride I'm running two bottles: Skratch Sport Hydration for electrolytes, Skratch Super High-Carb Mix for steady fuel. Chews in the pocket for the climbs. And I will be grabbing the gummy bears at every single stop with zero apologies.

What's your road nutrition strategy? Drop it below.

Pinarello built the new Dogma X for riders who want to go fast and far without having to choose between the two. New X-Stays 2.0, new aero downtube, new M40X carbon, 35mm tire clearance. The same frame DNA that wins races, tuned for the kind of riding most of us actually do.
