My name is Jan.
I began playing piano when I was 5 years old and have been teaching piano for over 45 years. At a young age, music helped me to build self-confidence and personal fulfillment. To this day, I love bringing the joys of playing piano to people of all ages and experience levels. Playing piano broadens your understanding of rhythm, harmony, and even the world around you. Music can be a meditative escape from the stress of everyday life or an engaging social experience, enjoyed at schools, concerts, parties, churches, community events, and on the street.
