For most of his life, Calixto worked as a farm day laborer.
Two years ago, he began working with crops like tomatoes, sweet peppers, and lettuce — something he says he had never imagined himself doing.
“I’m still learning,” Calixto shares. And for him, that learning is also connected to his faith.
In his testimony, he reflects on Revelation 3:20 and on God’s invitation to open our hearts to Him.
Calixto’s story is one of learning, faith, and taking on work that once felt completely unfamiliar.
Agros is grateful to walk alongside him as he continues growing in knowledge and building toward greater stability for his family.

José Joel knows what it means to work hard.
For years, José Joel worked as a farm day laborer, putting in long days for low wages. Today, he is developing his own production, growing lettuce, cabbage, and sweet pepper while continuing to learn new farming practices.
With his current sweet pepper crop, José Joel has already harvested around 60,000 units and is aiming for approximately 80,000.
His story reflects what can happen when experience, determination, and access to new opportunities come together.
Agros walks alongside producers like José Joel as they strengthen their skills, grow their businesses, and build greater stability for their families.
