Six months ago (today!) we closed our doors as Altstadt to reimagine. Well, is that reimagining and we are now open for coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We still have great beers and a full bar. Come visit us soon (you’ll probably even recognize some familiar faces and hidden Altstadt touches)!

It is with heavy, yet hopeful hearts that we are announcing the end of Altstadt’s nine year run in Pioneer Square. Times changed, the world changed, we’ve changed – and this isn’t a decision we take at all lightly. We want to thank each and every one of you who have supported us in our vision of a modern German beerhall by lifting your Steins ( some of you many of them ) and devouring brats, schnitzels and brezels with your friends, family, sporting nemeses, or Tinder dates. You’ve made it all so much fun, and we thank you!
 
However...Fear not! We are not leaving our space- just retooling our concept a bit. We will be back in March with a new look and a new menu, ready for 10 more years of celebrating this amazing neighborhood, and all of you!

Until then, the beerhall is dressed in holiday cheer, and we’re excited to welcome you in for Glühwein and merriment in celebration of the holidays and our final weeks. Come raise a pint, say goodbye (for now), and if you’ve had your eye on an
Altstadt hoodie, a beer boot, or even beer sign, now is your chance to own a piece of our Zeit hier und jetzt.
