She rattled her ribs, gave a wink and a plea:
āBring bakes for the theme spooky sweet, just for me!
Marigolds, monsters, a calavera or two,
Whatever your hands make, weāll savor with you.ā
Weāll build an ofrenda, so bring, if you care,
A photo of loved ones or pets to rest there.
For those who have left us are never quite gone;
They linger in kitchens and live on and on.
So paint on your skull, wear your finest disguise,
Come break bread with neighbors āneath marigold skies.

I canāt wait for the Seattle Baking Club in October with the one and only ! When I first started baking, I watched her videos on YouTube over and over again and itās an honor to welcome her into our baking community for a short Q&A, book signing and a wholesome evening full of amazing bakes.
Weāll celebrate with recipes from her new book āBake Anythingā or any of her countless amazing ones you can find online.

Weāre thrilled to welcome Martin Sorge to celebrate the launch of his brand-new book, Great Bakes, with the Seattle Baking Club!
Join us for an afternoon of delicious inspiration, sweet conversation, and all things baking.
Martin is a self-taught baker and the winner of the first season of The Great American Baking show on Roku. Heāll be with us for a Q&A, baking tips and maybe some secrets from his book and the tent. As always weāll all bring bakes to share with everyone!

The most technical Baking Club yet, celebrating one year of Pastry Temple by for a very short Q&A with James Beard Nominee, Christina Wood and a chance to try basically every recipe in the book!
Dozens of bakes that all use one of the pillar recipes: brioche, puff pastry, or croissants dough. With lengthy explanations for how to make these, it makes approaching them less intimidating. Everything was spectacular and a great mix of flavors! If you havenāt checked it out, canāt recommend this book enough! Thank you for having us and thanks everyone who came to the event!
