Announcement time! New Kotlovan EP, “Beyond Sense”, is finished and will be released on January 2nd.
Four spontaneous, improvisational, piano tracks, inspired and influenced by Erik Satie, Brian Eno, maybe even some of the Rock in Opposition groups (Henry Cow, Art Bears, Aksak Maboul, Etron Fou Leloublan), and piano ambient works of Aphex Twin.
I very much enjoyed exploring a new musical style, it was quite unpredictable even for me how these songs have turned out - very different from all previous Kotlovan work.
