Wherever you are on you spiritual journey, you have a place at Epiphany!

After the procession and the blessing of the Chapel Bell, we gathered for our annual tradition on Kick-Off Sunday: the Fall Picnic, with food, fun, and fellowship! But no bouncy house this time because of the rain! Oh well. There's always next year!

"The bell tolls for thee; for me; for all of us. And now, it will do so audibly from the corner of Denny and 38th, here in Madrona, a neighborhood in the city of Seattle, part of the Pacific Northwest. Here is where our buildings stand. Their presence however is not a foregone conclusion. It is not inevitable. Every generation, every congregation has to concur. They have to say yes, together!

In 2016, 306 people did so, and we renovated the chapel and the church and the Great Hall and refreshed the grounds. And time passes. Things change. People have moved. People lose their faith. And many, like Bob, go to glory.

Now, 10 years have brought us to today, and we have been asked, again, to preserve and enhance our spiritual home. This time 395 of you have said yes, together! And of those 395, 236 of you, that is 60%, weren’t here to give to the capital campaign of 2016.

That is a number worth noting. Churches are dynamic, living communities who choose to be connected to a place to practice faithfully living together in the Kingdom of God."

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday for our celebration of a successful end to the Capital Campaign 2026 and the installation of Epiphany's new Chapel Bell, despite the rain and change in plans for our procession! The vibrancy of this parish shown bright and God was glorified through your faithfulness to our spiritual home! Our generation has said "yes" to Epiphany once more.

Each Sunday at 5:30 PM, professional voices lead sung evening prayer drawn almost entirely from Scripture — no sermon, nothing required of you but to show up and listen. All are welcome, whatever your background or familiarity with the tradition.
