Founded in Seattle in 1892, the Swedish Club has grown to become a center of Scandinavian activities in the Pacific Northwest. Our members are not only Swedes and other Scandinavians, but people of many cultural backgrounds. There is no Swedish Club without members! When you join, your membership helps us preserve the Swedish Club for the next generation, offer interesting Swedish cultural programs and events, and ensure you will always have a place where you belong. Next week, on Sept 5th, the New York Red Bulls will play the Seattle Sounders - which means Swedish soccer player Emil Forsberg comes to town! KINGS OF KUBB is headed to Seattle! , and special guests and Jayne Jochimsen will be hosting a screening and Q&A in collaboration with and !
Join us at the National Nordic Museum on Thursday, July 30, at 6 p.m. (doors at 5:30 p.m.). Tickets are $15 general admission and $10 for Swedish Club and National Nordic Museum members.
Then meet filmmakers B.J. Hollars and Steve Dayton, and stars Gregg and Jayne Jochimsen, at a free Q&A and reception on Friday, July 31, at 5 p.m. at The Swedish Club’s Three Crowns Lounge.
