We're looking for volunteers to provide hair, skin, eyebrow, and makeup services for the women we serve. ✨We especially need hair care for women of color and makeup services for trans women.✨

Scheduling is flexible and takes place during our regular Day Shelter hours of Sunday through Friday, 9 am – 4:30 pm.

September is Hunger Action Month!

Every September, communities across the U.S. come together to raise awareness about food insecurity. At Elizabeth Gregory Home, we believe that nutritious food is a necessity that everyone deserves. Food is one of the most important services provided through our Day Shelter. Women experiencing homelessness know they can come to EGH to receive healthy meals.

Together, we can create a more just, sustainable, and resilient food system for all. 💚

We need coffee!
Our Day Shelter relies on donated items to serve our guests. We are currently accepting donations of coffee, either ground or whole bean.
Donations may be dropped off at the EGH Day Shelter Sunday through Friday, 9 am – 4 pm💚

Two of the most requested items in our Day Shelter are backpacks and notebooks.🎒📓

With school starting this week, many stores are putting school supplies on clearance. If you are at a store like Target, Walmart, or Office Depot and would like to pick up a backpack or a few notebooks for the women of EGH, we would really appreciate it!
