The Balourdet Quartet has returned to Skyline for their second 9-month residency in partnership with the Seattle Chamber Music Society. From September 2026 to May 2027 they will interact with the residents, share meals, and hold performances at the community. We are thrilled to welcome back The Balourdet Quartet!

Celebrate the start of the Seattle Symphony's 2026/2027 season on Saturday, September 19. Guests will also get their first look at Benaroya Hall’s boldly reimagined public spaces, with warm and welcoming details throughout, all designed to deliver an exceptional concert experience.
Internationally acclaimed pianist Yefim Bronfman will perform Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Seattle Symphony at our Opening Night Concert on September 19, 2026. Yuja Wang, who was originally scheduled to appear, is unable to perform due to health reasons. We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating the start of the 2026/2027 season!

We know how important your furry friends are, that's why Skyline offers pet-friendly living with the convenience of a rooftop terrace dog run. Join First Hill's annual neighborhood dog show on 8/26. Enter as a participant or simply show up. Piedmont Cafe will be providing pup cups for all pets to enjoy. It’s one of the many neighborhood perks of living at Skyline!
First Hill’s favorite dog show is back! Join us on 8/26 at 6pm at First Hill Park to check out the very best dogs this neighborhood has to offer. All participating pooches will receive a swag bag of goodies (space is limited) and the winners in each category will receive prizes from All the Best. The oldest and youngest dogs will also be recognized. Shout out to Piedmont Cafe, who will be providing pup cups for all pets to enjoy!

The First Hill Farmers Market is officially back! Running every Friday until September 11th from 10am - 2pm on Terry Ave between Spring and Madison, next to The Baroness Hotel. It’s one of the many neighborhood perks of living at Skyline!

The Seattle Chamber Music Society flagship Summer Festival is back! Running from June 18-July 26. Skyline is proud to sponsor the “Tasting Notes” event for its second year on Monday, July 6. Experience a one-of-a-kind pairing of world-class musicians and celebrated Seattle chefs. Hosted by SCMS Artistic Director James Ehnes and celebrity chef and New York Times best-selling author Kenji López-Alt.
Skyline will be on-site from 4-7pm to answer any questions you may have about our Life Care community. We look forward to seeing you!
Tasting Notes 2026 | Seattle Chamber Music Society Tasting Notes returns on July 6 with an exciting new lineup of celebrated Seattle chefs and a delicious new twist!
This past season, Skyline had the privilege of hosting The Balourdet Quartet, in partnership with the Seattle Chamber Music Society, for their first ever residency. The acclaimed quartet gave Skyline residents the chance to sit in on rehearsals, get to know the musicians and see all the work that goes into a performance.
James Ehnes, SCMS’ artistic director, describes the organization’s expanding partnerships as “a logical extension of the fundamental mission of making music in its best possible form, then bringing it to as many people as we can.”
Skyline looks forward to welcoming the Balourdet Quartet back in September for a second season!
