As the seasons change, we’re transforming the Cornish Playhouse and courtyard into a luminous, interactive gathering place to honor our growth, tend our inner fires, and celebrate the rich harvest of our community’s artistic talents. Whether you want to take in live mainstage performances, view the exhibition, create art, or relax with great people, there’s a place for you in our garden.
Featuring Path with Art Jam Sessions, Singers, Veterans Choir (in collaboration with Seattle Opera) and members of the Path with Art Tango Band.

Sea Mar Fiestas Patrias is September 19: 12pm-9pm & September 20: 11am-6pm in the Armory Food & Event Hall and Fisher Pavilion. The festival is part of the Seattle Center Festál series. It is free and open to the public.

Fiestas Patrias is more than a celebration of independence, but a powerful declaration of Latino presence, unity, and culture. This year’s theme is “Healthy Communities, Vibrant Cultures / Comunidades Saludables, Culturas Vibrantes”, which is weaved throughout the festival with a health fair, zumba, and Viva Art Exhibit showcasing Latina/o/x PNW artists. At the Fisher Pavilion, visitors can enjoy live entertainment, craft vendors, and cuisine.

The festival is produced in partnership with Sea Mar Community Health Centers, one of the largest community health centers in the country with over 100 locations across western Washington providing medical, dental, behavioral health, housing, educational and cultural services.

Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival is September 13: 11am-6pm in the Armory Food & Event Hall, Mural Amphitheatre, and Fisher Rooftop. The festival is part of the Seattle Center Festál series. It is free and open to the public.

This year’s theme is Mālama i ka ʻike o nā kūpuna ("If we do not remember our ancestors, we will become lost people"). Visitors can enjoy lei-making with fresh flowers, cultural workshops, hula performances, and shopping at 60+ vendors. Closing out the day, Ho‘okena with special guests Ocean Kaowili, a multi-talented musician, singer, and actor, and kumu hula Nani Dudoit, will headline the Mural Stage.

The festival is produced in partnership with Seattle Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival, which serves to promote and perpetuate Hawaiian culture in the Pacific Northwest by enriching and strengthening the community and celebrating the arts and culture of Hawai'i.

Join the City of Seattle as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of the events of 9/11 and all the lives lost. The Seattle Fire and Seattle Police Departments are hosting a public memorial from 12-12:30 p.m. this Friday at the Seattle Center Memorial Garden, adjacent to the Fisher Pavilion.

Our Seattle community is welcome to join as we reflect on what 9/11 meant to us individually and collectively.


May we find connection and unity as we remember and honor the sacrifice of our first responder community and the thousands of lives lost 25 years ago.

Death Cab for Cutie returns to Seattle Center this weekend to headline Bumbershoot, adding another chapter to a relationship with the festival that stretches back decades.

In a new interview with The Seattle Times, frontman Ben Gibbard reflects on Bumbershoot, the band’s Seattle roots, their new album I Built You a Tower and what it means to return to a festival that has long been part of the city’s creative story.
