It is with a heavy heart that the Heart Center (Sheffield) announces the passing of our friend and coworker of 18 years, Stephanie Phifer.

Visitation will be Friday, March 10, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Cherokee. A graveside service will be Saturday, March 11, at Eastport Baptist Church Cemetery in Iuka, MS, beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Butterfly Foundation: https://thebutterflyfoundation.info/contact-us/

We are pleased to introduce Wendy Cantrell as the new Director of Cardiology Services at Huntsville Hospital and HH Heart Center. Wendy spent the early part of her career as a licensed social worker before discovering a passion for teaching that led her to become a Corporate University instructor and Cardiovascular Service Line education specialist. She most recently served as Manager of Telemetry Services and also leads our employee choir, The Healing Voices.
