Lost River Ranch

Baby Boys are the friendliest ❤️

Its not often that we offer up any of our big cows as available but I have to make room for our big crop of calves to come and I cant let go any of my old gals, I want them to enjoy their retirement without the hassle of sudden stressors.

That said, This first offering hurts, bad!

FH Jigsaw Queen is a beautiful, deep, big horned young cow. Her papers list her as red and white but her coloring is more of a yellowish dun and white. Jiggy is well mannered, quiet and a super easy keeper. She calves with ease every year. We are retaining her daughter (my Granddaughters cow). Jiggy has produced blue roan, tri colored paint with speckles and parker brown. We paired her with our partnership Grulla bull, PCC PayPal and a tri colored measle bulls. If she took with Pay Pal it will be a mid- spring to summer calf. If HBF Snowblower got her it will be a late Fall calf. We have not witnessed her go into heat since PayPal left.

This gal is a Sleepy Horn daughter with a birth date of 9/7/20. She is TLBAA Registered number CI337630

I picked Jiggy because she is a great cow who is pushing out a ton of beautiful horn. Updated pictures and video available upon request.

Farmer is an adorable small Highland/Longhorn bull calf who will be ready to wean in early March. His coloring is gorgeous and he has the highland floofy hair. His Dam is a seasoned Texas Longhorn who has raised healthy calves each year. His Sire is our former white Scottish Highland Bull herd sire. Farmer has fun markings and is UTD on his vaccines.

We are happy to hold him until he is weaned if you would like to reserve him beforehand.

Frankie and Paisley ❤️

As we close out 2025, we are so grateful for all of the new friends who share our love and passion of animals. We debuted our first show heifer and embarked on a wonderful show journey. We have met some truly amazing people including one of my very favorite women, Toni who I was lucky to finally meet in person. We visited some beautiful states, amazing ranches, learned alot about the characteristics that make the Longhorns stand out and we even won a belt buckle!

To our buyers, we cannot express enough our appreciation of you. We dont take for granted how important it is to trust a breeder and we thank you for putting that trust in our program.

We are also very thankful for our amazing Veterinary and his staff at Orange County Animal Clinic as well as the incredible team at Purdue Large Animal Hospital.

Happy New Year!!! May 2026 be filled with good health, prosperity, love and happiness!
